My name is Joe Ruiz. This November I will contest Jackie Walorski (R) and Brendan Mullen (D) on the ballot for U.S. Congress, Indiana 2nd District. It wasn't long ago that the tea party, Libertarians and other fiscally conservative groups considered a balanced budget and a stronger economy our top priorities. As debates over college records and tax returns have clouded political discourse, it may be easy for some to lose track of what is really at stake this November. Our national debt is still climbing, unemployment is far from satisfactory and the challenges ahead of real people are greater than ever.

As your representative, I will champion a proposal to balance the budget by 2014. I will also be an advocate for government transparency, freedom of choice and peace. Washington should always work for the people -- never the other way around. I stand on the side of limited government. No Libertarian Party candidate holds a congressional seat. If I am elected and do not vote exactly how I say I will, no Libertarian will ever be elected over the old parties again. Visit me at www.joeruizforcongress.com because I'm a real choice, for real people, and I have an incentive to succeed.
